Chris is a skilled emergency manager with a variety of experience including at the local government level, as well as for voluntary organizations.

Chris has a master’s degree in Disaster Preparedness & Emergency Management, a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and an associate degree in Nursing as an RN.  He holds ICS certifications of Planning Section Chief and Operations Section Chief.

Chris holds certifications as a Missouri Level II Certified Emergency Manager and is a graduate of the National Emergency Management Advanced Academy.

Chris served as the Emergency Manager for the City of Kahoka and Clark County for seven years as well as the fire chief of two rural fire departments.  Additionally, he was the Regional Field Operations & Planning Manager for Team Rubicon for seven years.
